The new year arrived! As if external restrictions are not enough, year-end came with some infections that put me on medicine for the first week of the new year.
I managed to write a blog and an article, but the reduced energy made me reflect on the things we often take for granted—like going for a walk, completing chores, preparing food and eating, laughing, and having fun. I found it tough to smile and laugh when I was feeling drained.
Now, I’m gradually picking up and getting back to my self. My New Year’s resolutions took a hit right at the start, but my pull goals—like reading and breathing exercises—kept me on track and reminded me that I’m still moving forward.
I have been wondering about creating a publishing calendar, as many people talk and write about it. I plan to be a little more consistent this year. I am not aiming for too many blogs and then giving up midway. Instead, I plan to share a few things that keep me motivated and might help you, too. I am trying a couple of approaches and aiming to establish a calendar by mid-year.
Here is a poem to ponder on! Reading this poem reminded me of something important: life is not about being rigid or perfect—it is about staying curious, flexible, and adventurous. We don’t have to be statues rooted in one place; we can explore, learn, and embrace change. As I start this year, I want to carry that spirit—to stay positive, fearless, and wild, even when plans don’t go as expected.
